‘A Heightend Lyric’, Raymond Antrobus
Exhibition: Feel The Sound Client: The Barbican
‘A Heightened Lyric’ is the poet & author Raymond Antrobus’s installation on the lakeside terrace for the Barbicans Feel The Sound Exhibition.
The 7 kites soaring above the lake, carry British Sign Language interpretations of poems exploring sound and its absence, in response to the sounds the poet would miss through the rest of the exhibition due to his high frequency deafness.
Solved worked closely with Raymond’s team from early concept, in close collaboration with structural engineers Simple Works.
