Solved Workshop worked with Nissen Richards studio on this paired back and elegant exhibition designer capturing the feeling of walking into an artist studio in the 60’s. Low level sweeping plinths seemingly float off the floor providing a visual barrier to the art on open display.
We collaborated with engineers Simple Works on a slim structural canopy tied back to the existing fabric, to allow for the display of three heavy sculptures but kept the structural intervention to a minimum.
We developed the design intent for a large scale double sided setworks vitrine with integrated lighting for the display of in case works, in keeping with the light filled and airy aesthetic of the exhibition.
