The Western Range Competition Client: The British Museum

Solved Workshop produced furniture to display the reponses from the five shortlisted architecture teams in the competition for the redesign of the Western Range Galleries. ,

Sited under the ornate dome of the Round Reading Room and utilising materials ubiquitous with construction, such as Unistrut and chipboard, we delivered a suite of display vitrines to house the shortlisted models along with a graphic introduction to each design scheme. A matching feedback desk, stools provided the opportunity for visitors to leave their thoughts on each concept design.
